S&T again awarded for innovative human resource management

1 x Gold and 1 x Bronze at the German BestPersAwards

Since 2003 the BestPersAwards have been presented to German companies with the most forward-looking and high quality human resource management. In 2009, approximately 70 medium-sized businesses applied for certification to confirm their fulfillment of all the criteria of the Institute of Management Skills at the University of Saarbrücken. The participants were also competing to be selected as the best company in each of 10 different categories.

IMG was the runaway winner in the “HR Development” category. Its dedicated “onboarding process”, effective “management by objectives” and the HR development program focusing on specific target groups were the aspects that really placed the company on top. IMG also achieved third place in “Recruitment” for its innovative recruiting methods.

The company’s ongoing success at the BestPers Awards is the result of a continuous program: S&T has been investing in the field of HR development for many years, offering its staff professional education like comprehensive product trainings and technical trainings as well as language courses, promotion of young talents and management career planning.

IMG also offers its customers consulting services in the field of human resources. Particular focus in this respect is placed on changing the approach of the HR department, so that it does not simply focus on managing transactions but emerges as a real value-adding factor.
